Would you let your man wear Meggings?

Now you may not have heard of the term ‘meggings’ but trust us you will after reading this article. Meggings are on the rise thanks to celebrities papped wearing them such as Russell Brand, Lil Wayne, Lenny Kravitz and Justin Bieber.

If you thought super tight skinny jeans on guys was wrong wait till you see a fully grown man in meggings. Here at MyCelebrityFashion we cannot quite believe our eyes that this trend appears to be taking off. We know men’s fashion has taken a feminine turn over the past couple of years, but c’mon now, that tight and we’re at risk of seeing far too much then we bargained for!

We asked a couple of guys opinions on the matter and whether they would be brave enough to wear these horrors!

Mike Hart*, 23, says, ‘It’s never going to take off. Most men will just laugh if they saw another fella walking down the street in them. If one of my mates wore them they would definitely be ripped to shreds!’

Mark Davies, 28, says, ‘Men don’t have a massive selection when it comes to fashion. I think it’s good that guys will have something different to purchase rather than the standard jeans/trousers. However, would I personally wear them? No!’

Guys if you want our opinion step away from the meggings and invest in a classic pair of jeans or smart trousers which won’t cling to all the wrong areas. Thanks in advance!
