Where to find the best Christmas Party Dresses
Article written by Hannah Reynolds, Fashion Reporter
Here at My Celebrity Fashion we have decided, with the cooler weather approaching, it might just be time to start planning those party dresses you'll be needing at Christmas. Why wait until November or December to buy a new dress-ential when there are loads on the high street to be had right now! The stars are at it already, Jessica Alba is all set for a Christmas party in this black and gold number. If you start browsing for Christmas dresses now you're also much less likely to be caught wearing the same as someone else come Chrimbo time, so get shopping!

If you want a basic, staple dress that can be accessorised with virtually any jewellery, any shoes, any bag in any colour you need this Lipsy Cupped Zip Drape Dress, £60 from House of Fraser. This party dress is a really flattering cut and would suit most body shapes. The black upper corset style continues the underwear as outerwear trend and the tulip shaped skirt is right on the money in nude. The zip detailing is also bang on trend. This evening dress is really versatile so no need to worry about wearing it more than once!

This South Peacock Print Tunic, £49 from Very is a stunning shift dress that will definitely make you stand out in a crowd. With a satin feel finish this dress looks expensive, especially with its stand-out, unusual design, it could have come straight off the catwalk. While this beauty could be dressed down with leggings and boots, we think it is best teamed with whopping, caged heels and a simple clutch. If you are looking for a serious statement party dress, this is it!

Body con dresses are still huge in celeb-land (especially Hervé Leger's famous body con style) and this Bling One Shoulder Dress, £25 from New Look definitely hits the spot. One shoulder dresses are also still really popular and the detailing along the neckline makes this dress extra special. The nude-pink colour is really hot right now and would go great with monochrome or metallic heels. This is the ideal evening dress for partying the night away but don't forget to check in a coat because it would be a tad nippy in the early hours of a Winter morning!

Looking for block colour? What about this Ruby Corsage Dress, £29.99 from New Look? The corsage on the one shoulder of this dress takes it from being basic to beautiful! Think gold accessories or perhaps a colour-clashing clutch. However you dress this up make sure to wear sky-scraper heels and keep hair up to show off the neckline.

If you are looking to splash out on a gorgeous seasonal party dress this Devo Mini Dress, £295 from All Saints has to be the one! While there are a lot of sequinned dresses on the high street the quality of this one stands above the rest. We love the detailing and the low-cut back is really sexy. Wear with black tights and platform heels for a glam night out or for a real Sienna Miller / Kate Moss vibe wear with grungy boots and a chunky knit cardi for daytime.
So even though it is still technically Summer, the days are getting shorter, the X-factor is back, Christmas is approaching fast ladies! We wouldn't want you to be unprepared so take a look at these celebrity inspired, Christmas party dresses. You'll be surprised, there are loads out there to bag and once you've found the best dresses you'll have a few months spare to find all the accessories to go with them. Happy hunting!
