Fantastic Fashion for you Perfect Petite! | Petite outfits for every occaision

We do a lot of articles here on MCF about amazing dresses, the latest tops, hot jackets and sexy skinnies, this is all well and good but it's no good to all those pretty petites out there! Being less than 5'3 myself I feel it is my duty to help my fellow petite girlies find their ultimate outfits!

Gorgeous Celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cheryl Cole and Eva Longoria all fit into the petite section of our high street stores, but lucky for them they have designers to alter, shorten and design clothes around their petite frames. We do not have such a luxury so MCF has gone around looking at all our hot high street retailers and found where you guys can find the sexiest petite fashion around!

Dresses

Dresses are the best way to give the illusion of height, as long as you wear the right length skirt and don't wear anything to baggy! Calf length skirts and overly puffed up materials can make a petite girl look even shorter, so try to stick to either full maxi dresses or skirts above the knee. Looking around the high street we found that Miss Selfridge have a fantastic selection of petite dresses of all shapes, lengths and styles including maxi dresses, body-con dresses and sun dresses. r

I don't know about you girls but trousers have always been a problem area for me! Even when you take up your fave jeans, trousers or skirts the shape is altered giving you a different look to how they are supposed to! One god send out of the retail world is TOPSHOP! r

Now jackets are a toughy as it is very hard to find a jacket which suits everyone's frame and style! However we have found a fab selection in Next! They seem to fit nicely on the waist and they have a huge selection of styles including cropped jackets, mac's, blazers and denims.r

We adored these Black Jersey Blazer, £25 to £38 from Next as it's very similar to one that Geri Halliwell was snapped wearing out and about whilst shopping. It complements the nautical look and would look great for those who want to slim their waist. r

Everyone needs an array of tops to choose from and most styles which would fit standard size woman would fit us petite ladies! However some styles including shirts and crop tops you have to have the fit just right! That is where Dorothy Perkins petite range comes in! r
