Leighton Meester was born on April 9th 1986. She is an American actress best known for her role as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl. She has hopes to make it in the singer/songwriter industry too.
She has also appeared in Law & Order, CSI: Miami, House, 24 and 8 Simple Rules. Her love for acting first began when she appeared in a production of the Wizard Of Oz when she was a school girl.
Meester's parents were convicted of drug crimes when her mother was pregnant with her, so she was born in Texas State Hospital and had to live with a relative for the first part of her life.
Leighton admits to being a "bit of a style chameleon" and says her style changes daily, as she likes a bit of eveything.
Her favourite designers include Kenneth Cole, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Nanette Lepore.
She opts for different designers depending on the occasion and prefers clothes that are comfortable!
