Shudoo is one of the country's leading footwear sites, with an ever growing brand base including, UGG Australia, Dune, Bertie, Carvela and French Connection.
Their shoe collection has been handpicked by expert fashion stylists and trend spotters, to make their range unique, up to date and fashion forward.
Shudoo eliminates the inconvenient factor when it comes to traipsing around stores, looking for that perfect pair of shoes. All of this season's top trends can be accessed from your computer or phone, with no hassle involved.
Here we speak to Shudoo's Content Editor, Kate Lapthorn.
1. So, why should our readers shop online at Shudoo?
We really pride on ourselves on our ability to keep our products in line with each season's trends. Our team pays a whole lot of attention to exactly what it is that customers want, and the result has made a store that brings together fresh style alongside footwear classics.
2. It's getting chilly outside, which are the best Shudoo shoes for surviving the cold in style?
What answer could we give if not sheepskin? UGG Boots and other sheepskin alternatives might not be to the style palette of everyone, but they're just so comfy! We challenge anyone to spend an hour in a pair of comfy sheepskins and NOT begrudge having to take them off.
3. MCF now has a men's section, what shoes should men be wearing this season?
For male footwear this season, it's all about winter boots, which have seen a definite surge in sales. They echo the military trends which were seen on the men's A/W catwalks.
4. If our readers are looking to splurge out on a designer pair of shoes this Christmas, which would you recommend?
I would recommend keeping an eye out for an item within a designer/high street collaboration range. It's a chance for us peasants to take home a piece of designer gear without the eye-watering price tag. The Lanvin for H&M range is the latest big fusion range out, and I've already got our beady eyes set on snapping up some of those treats. The Vivienne Westwood for Melissa collaboration has also introduced new lines this season that we've allocated to our next pay cheques. Who knew jelly shoes could look so good?
5. What about if they are watching the pennies?
There are always great alternatives to designer styles on the high street. At the moment, I love the Sandhurst boot from Shellys. Heeled walking boots littered the A/W 2010 runways, and these boots tap into that trend at a fraction of the cost.
6. What was your favourite shoe trend of 2010?
At Shudoo we're massive fans of shearling. Most likely helped by the return of the aviator jacket to popular fashion, shearling got big again this season. Fur accents and trims on heeled boots add a cosy feel to a winter staple.
7. What predictions have you got for shoe trends for 2011?
Heeled clogs were a firm fashion fixture in 2010, and look set to make a return in 2011. Controversially, kitten heels are set to make a comeback in 2011. I'm not at all sold on these yet, but time will tell whether the low height kitten can win favour over the favoured platform.
8. If you could raid a celeb's shoe collection, whose would it be?
I think it would have to be Kate Moss. She was recently voted Vogue's Best Dressed Woman of the Decade; a well deserved accolade. Over the years, that lady must have collected a sickening amount of pairs of shoes, and I want them to be mine!
9. Which celeb do you think needs a style makeover?
Controversially, I'd say Cheryl Cole. While there's hardly a massive overhaul needed, some of her X Factor looks leave a lot to be desired! Although she's still had her moments of sheer fashion brilliance this season, on the whole we've been left somewhat disappointed a lot of her looks, and I'm certainly in the camp that thinks that Cheryl Cole with red hair is a big no-no.
10. We're loving the Shudoo blog, especially the X Factor posts. Who is your favourite contestant this year?
While we've all got our own pet favourites in the competition, a unanimous fave with the Shudoo Blog team has got to be Rebecca Ferguson. Her chic, classic style, a la Audrey Hepburn, has allowed Rebecca to fly the flag for Liverpudlian fashionistas.
